Police bust two drug dealers and seize P179,000 worth of shabu in Rizal

LUCENA CITY – Police in Rodriguez, Rizal arrested two suspected drug dealers and seized over P179,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) on Saturday, September 28.

Region 4A police reported on Sunday, September 29, that members of the local drug enforcement unit arrested “Raffy” and “Darwin” at 5:10 p.m. after allegedly selling P300 worth of meth to an undercover officer in Barangay ( Village) San Isidro had sold.

Eight plastic bags containing shabu were confiscated from the suspects in a wallet.

The seized meth, weighing 26.4 grams, is worth P179,520, according to the Dangerous Drugs Board's estimate.

Both suspects are listed on the police watch list as identified street-level dealers of illegal drugs in the area.

The suspects were arrested and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
