Two were arrested in Auburn following a drug task force search

Two Auburn residents were arrested this week after a drug raid by the Finger Lakes Drug Task Force that discovered 35 grams of cocaine in their home. According to authorities, the raid took place on Tuesday around 10:50 p.m.

Leigh R. Rusin, 41, and Lori N. Skinkle, 36, were charged with third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after authorities also found digital scales, packaging materials and U.S. currency on their property.

Both suspects were arraigned Wednesday in Cayuga County Central Prosecutor's Court and released on their own recognizance.
