There was no rain in Kanpur on Sunday but the match was abandoned without a ball being bowled on the third day of the second day India-Bangladesh Test.
The overnight rain made it impossible to start the game on time in the morning as the outfield was wet and the two teams – and fans – had to wait.
Bangladesh had a first innings score of 107/3, with all 35 overs bowled in a rain-affected first innings. Rain and a wet outfield meant that the second day was also canceled without a ball being thrown.

On Friday, India won the toss and opted to play a home Test for the first time since 2015.
The referees – Chris Brown (New Zealand) and Richard Kettleborough (England) – carried out an inspection at 10am local time.
They had another at noon and a third two hours later when the day's game was canceled.
India won the first Test in Chennai by 280 runs to lead the two-match series.
