25-year-old arrested in serious condition after shooting in Kalihi | Crime and courts

KALIHI, Hawaii (Island News) – The Honolulu Police Department (HPD) and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to an attempted murder incident reported in the Kalihi area.

On Sunday, September 29, 2024, at around 5:25 a.m., it was reported that an unknown person shot a 31-year-old and a 24-year-old for unknown reasons and then left the area in an unknown direction.

The 24-year-old man was taken by emergency services to a nearby trauma hospital after his head was found bleeding from a wound following the incident. The emergency services admitted the 24-year-old in a serious condition.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
