'Flying Beast' Gaurav Taneja's old video goes viral amid 'cheating rumours': 'Husbands are neglected after pregnancy'

Gaurav Taneja, better known as Flying Beast to his millions of fans, and his wife Ritu Rathee are currently facing a turbulent phase in their marriage but are “hopeful” that everything will be sorted out soon. Amid rumors of their divorce and Taneja's alleged cheating on his wife, fans have unearthed an old video of the Indian YouTuber in which he discusses the topic of extramarital affairs and advises husbands to exercise some “self-control.”

Before we delve into the details of his viral video, let's take a look at Taneja's Instagram post and Rathee's reported concerns about infidelity and custody of her children.

The YouTuber and former AirAsia pilot took to Instagram to implore his followers to “stop making assumptions” about his married life. He stated: “I will remain silent for my children and the mother of my child. Ready to live with all the negativity and hate my whole life.”

Taneja further stressed that “social media is not a place to discuss family matters” and pointed out that people should not expect explanations from him.

“Men become villains very quickly. We don't cry, we talk less and express less. “Some of us are so hardwired,” he reflected, expressing hope that “everything will be sorted out soon.”

He also shared a creative that roughly translates to: “Whoever loves me, I love him back.”

The IIT Kharagpur graduate's statement came after fans reportedly spotted Rathee at Premanand Maharaj's 'Bhajan Marg' where she expressed concerns about her personal life. While Rathee, an Airbus A320 captain, did not directly address the divorce and cheating rumors, she reshared Taneja's post on her Instagram story.

What did Gaurav Taneja say in the viral video?

“Let me discuss something very important with all of you. When you become a couple and a child is born, husbands in particular often feel neglected in the first two to three months. This is because the mother spends all her time with the baby,” Taneja said in the video.

He then shared that Rathee is sleeping while he is recording the video as the baby keeps her awake all night and added, “When the baby sleeps, the mother also sleeps. With your wife, there is hardly any time for you.”

“Most extramarital affairs, about 80-82 percent, happen when you're having a baby. Seems a bit counter-intuitive since you're supposed to have more bonding as a couple, but the fact is, or the numbers say so,” the 38-year-old YouTuber claimed.

Taneja also advised husbands to exercise some “self-control” and explained that “the child your wife is raising is also your child and she works harder than you”.

“When you meet someone outside, for example a friend, and have a good chat, drink coffee or have lunch together, a connection slowly begins to develop. And since you don't talk to your wife, you don't share anything, and little by little this bond grows. “The other person starts to seem appealing, which can lead to problems,” the father of two continued.

Flying Beast emphasized: “This is my second time. It’s none of my business.”

Who is Gaurav Taneja?

Gaurav Taneja is a 38-year-old YouTuber who started his career with IndiGo, where he served as both First Officer and Captain. He later joined AirAsia as a pilot, but was suspended for “advocating for the safe operation of an aircraft and its passengers.” Reacting to his suspension, Taneja posted a video titled 'Reasons for suspension from my pilot job' on YouTube. In it, he detailed how the airline jeopardized passenger safety to save fuel. He claimed AirAsia instructed its pilots to conduct 98 percent of landings in “Flap 3” mode, a practice aimed at saving fuel. Based on his allegations, an investigation was launched and the DGCA suspended two executives of AirAsia India for three months.
