“Dalvin Cook will not be happy with the Cowboys after latest Kareem Hunt news”

The pressure is on for the Dallas Cowboys to get back on the winning streak in Week 4. They travel to Thursday Night Football against the New York Giants.

Dallas' defense and rushing attack have garnered most of the attention due to the Cowboys' sluggish start. Despite their struggles, owner Jerry Jones has continued to express his support for the roster he has created.

As a guest on 105.3 The Fan, Jones revealed that he does not expect running back Dalvin Cook to play on Thursday night. If that didn't upset Cook, the news from Kansas City will certainly worry the 29-year-old running back.

According to ESPN's Field Yates, the Kansas City Chiefs have signed running back Kareem Hunt to the active roster. On September 17, Hunt was signed to Kansas City's practice squad after Isiah Pacheco suffered an injury.

Now, after a week of training, he has already been included in the 53-man squad.

Meanwhile, Cook signed with the Cowboys' practice squad on August 28 and has been there for about a month. What makes matters worse is that Dallas hasn't had a rushing attack so far. After three weeks, they rank 30th in the NFL in rushing offense (73.7).

Cook needs to think about why he doesn't get a chance to dress up and show what he's capable of.

Cook didn't exactly put up the best film last season, posting 214 rushing yards and zero touchdowns with the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens.

He had hoped to bounce back in 2024 but will have to wait his turn.
