Chicago man charged with sex trafficking of missing teen

A Chicago man is facing felony charges after allegedly sex trafficking a missing teenager, according to the Cook County Sheriff's Office.

Tervon Moore, 30, now faces three felony charges: involuntary placement of a minor; Class 1 human trafficking for labor/services; and Class 1 Labor/Recruit Human Trafficking, according to the Cook County Sheriff's Office. He was ordered held for a hearing on Sunday.

Moore induced the victim to engage in sexual acts after posting ads on websites and arranging appointments, and collected half of the payments for himself, the sheriff's office said.

FBI agents contacted the sheriff's office Wednesday after images of the 16-year-old girl reported missing in Woodford County surfaced on the websites Megapersonals and Skipthegames.

The investigators contacted one of the advertisements and arranged to meet the girl at a motel in Cicero. She was then taken to a hospital for evaluation and Moore was arrested, the sheriff's office said.
