Finley drunk driving suspect arrested, vehicle missing lug nuts

Benton County deputies received two strange calls over the weekend.

Suspect drives truck without wheel nuts

Officers initially responded to a call Saturday evening from a homeowner who said a man was walking around their driveway and acting strangely.

BCSO did not release the location, but when contacted said the man was under the influence of narcotics and had an outstanding warrant from the DOC (Department of Corrections). He is now in the Benton County Jail.

Then, later that night, near Finley, officers conducting a traffic stop on a pickup truck discovered that not only was the driver under the influence of narcotics, but officers also said that the truck he was driving drove, almost all wheel nuts were missing, including several wheels that had none.

Fortunately, there was no accident while driving. The BCSO did not say how far the man had traveled without the grommets.
