Diddy's video features a “more well-known” person, says the accuser's lawyer

A lawyer for a new accuser of Sean “Diddy” Combs claims she was contacted about “selling one of the Diddy tapes,” specifically a pornographic video featuring the embattled hip-hop mogul, who was released last week on sex trafficking and extortion charges Federally indicted, and someone who is “better known” than the rapper and Bad Boy founder.

“There have already been leaks of tapes in Hollywood that were being shopped around… but a particular person contacted me to purchase a particular video that they had and to contact the person who was in the video to see “whether she would be interested in purchasing the video before it became public,” Ariel Mitchell-Kidd said Friday on NewsNation Banfield. “I can see that the video was pornographic in nature. … This was at his home in Atlanta and it appears the person is not watching the video. It doesn’t look to me like this person knew they were being videotaped.”

Mitchell-Kidd also said she was contacted several weeks ago by a new customer who claimed Combs raped her in 2018 and filed a police report at the time.

“She called me and told me about her attack and her escape,” Mitchell-Kidd said. “She was at the house of a friend who had contacts in the industry and Diddy decided to come over to the house.”

Mitchell-Kidd claims her client learned when he arrived that Combs planned to engage in sex acts with her.

“That led to her being served a drink. She began to feel lightheaded. “Combs sexually assaulted her with an inanimate object,” Mitchell-Kidd said. “And then he directed another gentleman to sexually assault her while he watched and pleasured himself.”

Mitchell-Kidd said her client was able to escape by running into the street, which a neighbor witnessed.

These allegations come as Combs remains behind bars awaiting trial after being indicted earlier this month on three counts of running a massive criminal enterprise in which he assaulted and trafficked women using his business empire since at least 2008 . Here's what he did Defendants are accused of engaging in a “pervasive pattern of abuse” in which women were forced to participate in highly staged sexual encounters with male sex workers who were allegedly transported across state lines and abroad. His bail was refused after he pleaded not guilty amid fears he would flee the country.

Last week, Combs was hit with another lawsuit, at least the 10th against the rapper, after Cassie Ventura sued him in November 2023 in a lawsuit that sparked a federal investigation into sex trafficking and racketeering.

This time, Combs was sued in federal court in New York for allegedly drugging and raping a woman in 2001. The accuser claimed she was sexually abused by Combs and his bodyguard.

It was also reported last week that Combs is in the same ward at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn as Sam Bankman-Fried, the crypto mogul convicted of fraud.

After Diddy was arrested on September 16, his attorney Marc Agnifilo issued the following statement: “We are disappointed in the decision to pursue what we believe to be an unjustified prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney's Office.” Sean “Diddy” Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working for the upliftment of the black community. He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To Mr. Combs's credit, he has been extremely cooperative in this investigation and voluntarily moved to New York last week in anticipation of this indictment. Please reserve judgment until you have all the facts. These are the actions of an innocent man with nothing to hide and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
