An undated video shows angry Indigo passengers shouting at ground staff over a long take-off delay. The scene, reportedly filmed at Mumbai airport, shows a group of passengers demanding answers from the airline after their flight was canceled without notice. Passengers say they had to wait on the plane for hours because the airline didn't bother to inform them of the delay and cancellation.

Indigo ground crew members who felt her wrath were praised online for remaining calm even in the face of that anger.

In footage shared on social media platform X, an angry Indigo passenger could be seen shouting at ground staff and demanding accountability. “Aap kya kar rahe ho?” He could be heard shouting and waving his hand in front of the employee’s face.

Two women then joined the man and insulted the staff. “Aap sirf time pass kar rahe ho,” a woman accused the staff, asking them why passengers had not been informed about the delay. Another heard that the entire plane had been waiting to take off since 9 a.m. “All other planes are taking off. Why doesn’t this one fly?” she asked.

The man joined the fray again, saying that Indigo staff should have at least informed passengers of the delay.

The video garnered thousands of views on X, where many sided with the passengers.

“The poor passengers have no choice but to be aggressive because no one listens to them. Five hours of delay is too much for a one to two hour flight,” one commenter wrote.

“Service industry employees deal with countless difficult customers, and the way they maintain their composure under pressure is commendable,” replied another.

“I feel sorry for that stewardess! People should understand that there is nothing in their hands!” said one X user. Several others agreed, saying the real target of passengers' ire should have been upper management.

An Indigo flight between Mumbai and Qatar was delayed by over five hours two weeks ago. Passengers who were already on board the plane were asked to leave the plane and wait at the airport.
