Harris County Criminal Court Judge Frank Aguilar died in a crash on Houston's south side, sources said

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Harris County Criminal Court Judge Frank Aguilar was killed today in a car accident on Houston's South Side, sources said.

Sources tell ABC13 he died in an accident outside Holly Hall around 4:30 p.m. while returning home from a Texans game.

Police confirmed an accident at that location in which a car crashed into a pole, but the victim has not yet been identified.

According to police, a passenger in the car was also injured in the accident.

Aguilar headed the 228th Criminal District Court.
