Man killed after motorcycle-pickup truck accident in Elkhart – 95.3 million people

The Elkhart Police Department's Fatal Crash Team continues to actively investigate a fatal motorcycle-vehicle crash.

The collision occurred in the 1600 block of Cassopolis Street in Elkhart around 7:15 p.m.

The Elkhart Police Department's investigation indicates that a motorcycle traveling north on Cassopolis Street struck a Ford F150 that was turning left in front of it. The motorcyclist, a man in his early 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment but died shortly afterwards.

The driver of the Ford F150 remained on scene and cooperated with investigators.

The Elkhart Police Department's Fatal Crash Reconstruction Team was activated per protocol and is leading the investigation.
