IndiGo passengers shout at Mumbai airport ground staff over viral delayed flight video

A group of passengers scheduled to travel on an IndiGo flight faced backlash on social media after a video of them shouting at ground staff at an airport went viral. Footage showing passengers punching female ground staff near the gate sparked outrage among viewers, who condemned their aggressive behavior.

Apparently passengers had to wait for hours at the airport after the airline failed to inform them of the delayed flight.

“Chhote bachche 5 ghante se yahaan wait kar rahe hain. Aap kya kar raho ho (Children wait here for five hours. What are you even doing)?” An angry man told the IndiGo staff at the counter who were busy sorting out the issue.

One of the female passengers also chimed in and said, “Aap Sirf Timepass Kar Rahe Hain. Aise thodi na chalta hai (You're just wasting time here. This won't work).” Meanwhile, another passenger added: “Doosre Sab Flights Chale Gaye. Yehi kyun nahi jaa raha hai (All other flights have taken off. Why isn’t this flight taking off)?”

Meanwhile, the female ground staff maintained a calm and composed demeanor and attempted to politely answer passengers' questions.

While social media users admitted that IndiGo should have provided the necessary details, they claimed that the aggressive behavior of the passengers was not justified at all. Several users also praised the female ground staff for not misbehaving with passengers.
