Walworth resident charged with drunk driving – Finger Lakes Daily News

A traffic stop in the city of Huron by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office resulted in the arrest of a Walworth resident.

Tracy Mortimer was spotted by Wayne County Sheriff's deputies allegedly driving 78 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour speed zone. Upon further investigation, Mortimer was reported to have shown signs of intoxication and officers conducted field sobriety tests.

Mortimer was arrested for drunk driving and refused to submit to a chemical breath test.

Mortimer was charged with drunk driving and speeding.

The fact that a defendant is accused of a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
