BTS Suga was fined heavily for “drunk driving.”

BTS member Suga ended up being heavily fined for driving under the influence.

Accordingly BBCthe K-pop boy band member, was fined ₩15 million ($11,500; £8,600) over the incident last month.

Suga, whose real name is Min Yoon-gi, was found by police near his Seoul residence in a drunken state after falling off his electric scooter.

Police revealed that the rapper's blood alcohol concentration was 0.227%, which is seven times higher than the legal limit in South Korea.

The legal limit for blood alcohol concentration in the country is 0.03 percent.

A district court in Seoul imposed the fine and revocation of his driver's license last Friday.

The rapper also apologized in a statement last month, saying that he was driving home in Seoul “assuming it was a short distance” and forgetting that you can't use an electric scooter while “under the influence.”

The 31-year-old is currently serving as a military social worker after being declared unfit for regular combat duty, according to the release.
