Israeli and US airstrikes expand in Lebanon, Syria and Yemen; Dozens kill |

Israeli forces continued to escalate their aggression on Sunday, dropping bombs on civilians in southern, central and northern Lebanon and also bombing locations in Yemen. While the US sent additional troops and naval aircraft to the region, it also dropped bombs in Syria on Sunday.

Seventeen people from one family died on Sunday afternoon when Israeli occupation forces shelled towns in the eastern Bekaa region of Lebanon.

A Wafa news correspondent reported that 17 people from a Lebanese family were killed in the occupation bomb attack on a residential building in the Bekaa town of Zboud on Sunday afternoon.

The occupation attacks in Lebanon targeted the city of Baalbek and the cities of Nabi Sheet, Tamnin al-Tahta, al-Kharibeh, al-Hermel, Halbata, Sahmar, al-Ain and Ayat, al-Ain in the Bekaa.

The occupation fighters also attacked the cities of Tire and Nabataea, as well as the cities of Marjeyoun, Zoutar al-Sharqiya, al-Tira, Tayr Harfa, al-Aytaniyah, Yahmor, Aba, Maaroub, Ainata, al-Qasimiyeh, Bdayas, Shaqra, al-Jumaijmeh, Houmin al-Fawqa, Tayr Dibba, Qabrikha, Majdal Salm, Rashkaniya, al-Qasiba, Qaqaiyat al-Jisr, al-Sawan, Aita al-Shaab, al-Mahmoudiya, al-Aishiyya, al-Bissariyya, Beit Lif, Bint Jbeil , Arabsalim, Yahun, al-Kharayeb, al-Qantara, Markaba, Alman, al-Zrarieh and the hills and heights of Iqlim al-Tuffah in southern Lebanon.

Israeli bombing in Yemen:

In addition to the bombing of Lebanon, Israeli occupation forces launched a series of airstrikes on Sunday in Al-Hodeidah governorate in western Yemen.

A security source told Yemen's Saba news agency that the crew's warplanes attacked oil tanks in the port of Ras Issa and areas near the port of Hodeida.

The source stated that the Israeli occupation attacked the current power plant in the city of Hodeidah with several raids.

The US military announced that 37 people were killed in US airstrikes in Syria on September 16 and 24. The US claimed that all those killed were al-Qaeda or Da'esh militants, but this could not be independently confirmed.
