Jets: Worrying video leaks from Aaron Rodgers during loss to Broncos

The New York Jets fell to the Denver Broncos in a surprising loss that left the Jets with a record of 2-2 on the year. With Buffalo falling to the Baltimore Ravens, it would have been a perfect opportunity for New York to gain an advantage in the division.

The loss was quite shocking as the addition of Aaron Rodgers to the team didn't lead many fans to believe they wouldn't score touchdowns. The only points came from field goals, but Rodgers appeared exhausted on the sidelines when he attempted one.

With less than a minute to play, Greg Zuerlein missed a go-ahead field goal, leading to New York's 10-9 loss. With just 248 yards of total offense and zero touchdowns, the Jets' offense struggled against the Broncos. A video of Rodgers' reaction to the missed field goal attempt goes viral:

The running game only managed 64 yards on 23 attempts. It appeared that Aaron Rodgers was out of sync with his receivers, recording five sacks today (24 of 42 for 225 yards, no touchdowns, no interceptions). Garrett Wilson scored eight times for the team but only had five catches for 41 yards.

East Rutherford, NJ – September 29 – Aaron Rodgers of the Jets attempted to pass to Garrett Wilson, but Wilson did not turn to look for the ball due to a miscommunication in the fourth quarter when the Denver Broncos the New York defeated the Jets 10-9 at MetLife Stadium.

After Rodgers was sacked on a 4th-and-10 attempt with 1:46 left, the Broncos went three-and-out on the following drive and missed a 50-yard field goal. That gave the Jets the ball back at their own 40-yard line with 1:27 left and no timeouts and only needed a field goal to win.

A completion to Breece Hall and a defensive pass interference call gave the Jets the ball at the Denver 36-yard line and put them within field goal range. From there, however, the Jets only managed four more yards, and Zuerlein himself missed a 50-yard attempt, leaving the Broncos running out of time.

Yes, conditions on Sunday were not ideal given the bad weather. But Rodgers and the offense would be expected to at least score a touchdown or double-digit points. What happened on Sunday did not suggest a potential playoff team.
