Police ID: 1-year-old girl killed in crash on Berlin Turnpike – NBC Connecticut

Police have identified a one-year-old girl who died in a traffic accident on the Berlin motorway over the weekend.

The three-car accident occurred near the intersection of North Colony Road just before 3 p.m.

According to reports, one of the vehicles overturned during the accident and several people were thrown from another vehicle.

According to police, a one-year-old child was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead. She was identified as Ella Salgado. Two adults and two other children who were in the same vehicle were injured and are recovering.

The accident is being investigated by the Midstate accident reconstruction group, the Berlin criminal police and the public prosecutor's office.
