A Cottage Grove woman was jailed after a DUII incident Friday night.

According to a report from the Douglas County Sherrif's Office, an officer was observing traffic at the intersection of West B Avenue and South Cedar Street in Drain around 9:50 p.m. He saw an SUV drive through the intersection at a speed of about 25 miles per hour. The deputy initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted the driver, who was reportedly intoxicated.

The woman was reportedly unable to perform any of the standard field sobriety tests and was belligerent. When told she was under arrest, the woman reportedly resisted and was taken to prison, where she refused to provide a blood sample. 42-year-old Amanda Tellason was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and resisting arrest. She was held without bail.
