Brandon McManus has been convicted of sexual assault by the NFL after allegations he “rubbed” against two women on the flight to London.

Brandon McManus will not be punished by the NFL after allegations that he sexually assaulted two women on a flight to London with the Jacksonville Jaguars last year.

In May, it was reported that the women were seeking $1 million in damages and a jury trial.

They alleged that McManus, 32, rubbed and rubbed against them and also alleged that Jacksonville failed to supervise its player or provide a safe environment for team personnel. The incident is said to have occurred in September 2023.

The NFL opened an investigation, but it was determined that there was insufficient evidence to conclude that he had violated the league's personal conduct policy. NFL reporter Adam Schefter first revealed the results on Monday.

As a result, McManus is now free to sign with a team and continue his career. As a result of the allegations, he was released by the Washington Commanders just three months after signing a one-year, $3.6 million contract.

McManus vigorously denied the allegations through his lawyers in May.

“To be clear, these are entirely fabricated and demonstrably false allegations made as part of a campaign to defame and disparage a talented and respected NFL player,” McManus' legal team Brett R. Gallaway, Partner, McLaughlin & Stern said in a statement Opinion Opinion.

“We intend to aggressively defend Brandon’s rights and integrity and clear his name by showing what these claims truly are – an extortion attempt.”

The Jags played two games in London during the 2023 season, on October 1 against the Atlanta Falcons at Wembley Stadium and on October 8 against the Buffalo Bills at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. McManus played in both games.

According to Schefter, McManus could now be in for a quick return to the NFL.

According to the lawsuit, the Jaguars flew to the United Kingdom on a charter flight operated by Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings on September 28, 2023, and the two women worked as flight attendants for the team.

They claim the trip “quickly turned into a party” and that McManus and several other players “disregarded flight attendants' privacy, airline safety and federal law.”

One of the women – identified only as Jane Doe I – accuses McManus of trying to kiss her while she was seated during a period of turmoil and twice rubbing against her as she served meals to passengers.

The second woman – Jane Doe II – claims McManus rubbed against her while she was serving the second of the flight's two meals before confronting him – only for him to “grin and walk away.”

Last season, the NFL star earned $2 million on his one-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars after being released by the Denver Broncos.

In 2023, he made 30 of his 37 field goal attempts and all 35 of his extra point attempts.
