BELL COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) – A Bell County man suspected of being involved in 28 shootings in the past 30 days, in addition to a July 5 incident in which he opened fire on a vehicle containing two children, was arrested after a chase arrested at high speed on September 24th. says an affidavit.

According to an affidavit, the victim stated that Adams and another suspect fired shots at their vehicle on July 5, 2024, believing they were shooting at an unknown man with whom the men were having problems. The victim played a recorded conversation between her and Adams for officers in which Adams stated, “If they had known it was her, they wouldn't have shot at the vehicle.”
