How Liv Morgan really feels about WWE Love Triangle – TJR Wrestling

Liv Morgan has shared her honest thoughts about her love triangle with Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley.

Liv Morgan's rivalry with Rhea Ripley began in 2023 when Ripley attacked Morgan with a steel chair on Raw, resulting in a shoulder injury that sidelined the star for six months. After returning at the 2024 Royal Rumble, Morgan embarked on a “revenge tour” targeting Ripley and the Women's World Championship.

This culminated in Morgan winning the title at SummerSlam after Dominik Mysterio shockingly turned against Ripley and began a relationship with Morgan instead.

Speaking about the rivalry in the New York Post, Morgan said it was interesting to see how the two characters switched paths.

“Yes, it was interesting because of my history with Rhea, literally because she broke my shoulder and I have to have rotator cuff surgery, labrum repair surgery and bicep repair surgery. She rises to this level of superstardom and here I am sitting at home watching her and I absolutely hate it.

“So I'm designing this whole Liv Morgan revenge tour while watching my opponent Rhea Ripley rise to superstardom. So it's interesting to be on the other side and build my superstar status on my own. But man, I mean, it’s going to feel so good to absolutely destroy her on Bad Blood.”

Morgan went on to say that she was happy to bring in the love triangle storyline to further her and Ripley's fight for the title.

“Yeah, I think it's cool to know and show that we can do both. You know, yes, I can be the women's champion and have a story that revolves around my championship, but I can also bring those elements, and a lot of those elements. People who watched WWE as a kid loved it.

“They loved romance. They love the mess, love the love triangles. Who doesn't love a good love story? So to be able to bring those two together I think is cool because it's usually one or the other, you know, so it's special in its own way to have a story that's actually, you know, maybe not that much focused on the championship also in his own way.”

The next chapter of the rivalry will take place at WWE Bad Blood as Liv Morgan will defend the Women's World Championship against Rhea Ripley while Dominik Mysterio hangs in a shark cage above the ring.

Liv Morgan is sad about WWE live events being cut

In the same interview, Liv Morgan explained why she's sad about WWE limiting the number of non-televised live events. While she admits the extra time at home will be nice, she feels the move will give new wrestlers fewer opportunities to gain experience in the ring in front of a crowd.
