Angelina Jolie drops lawsuit over 2016 plane accident with Brad Pitt

The allegations in the lawsuit appeared to be consistent with an FBI report about a previous incident involving Jolie and Pitt in which the Eternal The actress accused her then-husband of attacking her and one of their six children –Maddox23, Pax20, Zahara19, Shiloh18 and 16 year old twins Vivienne And Knox– during a transatlantic flight from Europe to Los Angeles on September 14, 2016.

Ultimately, prosecutors did not file charges in connection with the plane incident against Pitt, who denied the abuse allegations. As a federal spokesperson told E! News in November 2016, five weeks after the flight: “The FBI has conducted a review of the circumstances and will not investigate further.”

In the FOIA lawsuit, the plaintiff said she requested the release of documents related to the FBI's investigation to “obtain information necessary for the medical care and trauma counseling of her children.”
