Man killed, two others injured in triple shooting outside New York City public housing complex

A man was killed and two others were injured in a triple shooting outside a public housing complex in Brooklyn on Monday, police said.

According to the NYPD, gunfire occurred near the NYCHA's Lafayette Gardens Houses on Dekalb Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 5:20 p.m.

A 32-year-old man who was shot in the head was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 26-year-old man was also shot in the stomach and shoulder, while a 33-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body, police said.

Both surviving men were taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in critical condition.

According to the NYPD, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
