Frankie Valli is breaking his silence after stoking health fears with a viral performance video

Frankie Valli is responding to online speculation about his health after a series of his performances went viral and left people wondering if he was OK.

The famed entertainer, 90, issued a statement to People on Monday saying he continues to enjoy practicing his craft on stage given the recent feedback on his concert performances.

“I have to smile when I ask in the comments if anyone is forcing me to go on stage,” said the Frankie Valli and Four Seasons frontman. “No one has ever forced me to do anything I didn’t want to do.”

The Grease singer said he was happy to continue taking to the stage, saying: “I absolutely love what I do.”

He added: “I know there's been a lot of talk about me on the internet lately, so I wanted to clear things up.” “I'm blessed to be 90 years old and still doing what I love to do , and as long as I'm able and the audience wants to see me, I'll be out there performing like I always do.”

The singer of songs like “Rag Doll,” “Walk Like a Man” and “Big Girls Don't Cry” hit back at people who claim he lip-syncs during his onstage performances.

“I know we put on a great show because our fans still come out in droves and the show still rocks,” Valli said. “How do we do the show?!” The Four Seasons sound was always about layering vocals and instruments. We use our 60 years of experience to make us sound like the records.

“I sing, I have singers who sing, great arrangements… everything.”

The December 1963 artist (“Oh, What a Night”) vowed to “chase music” for as long as possible.

He said: “I plan on doing shows and delivering that great Four Seasons sound for as long as I can.” “Like that line in 'Jersey Boys,' I'm like that bunny on TV that just keeps going and going and runs.”

Valli's recent performances have garnered a number of reactions from people on platforms such as TikTok and X/Twitter.

The entertainer, who played the role of Rusty Millio on “The Sopranos,” has been busy in recent years with trips around the country and a stint in Las Vegas.

Valli, who celebrated his 11th wedding anniversary with wife Jackie Jacobs, 61, last June, is expected to continue his current tour until next April.

According to his website, his next show is scheduled for Friday, October 11th at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota.

Valli received a three-year restraining order from his son Francesco, 36, in a Los Angeles court on April 29.

A judge ruled that Francesco must stay at least 100 meters away from the entertainer and his 29-year-old son Emilio's home and work place.

Emilio had told the court that both he and Valli were concerned after an incident in April in which he said Francesco tried to break into the entertainer's home; and that Francesco “repeatedly physically threatened to harm or kill both men” as “part of a pattern over several months.”
