A Brevard County man is accused of shooting 10 times into a Titusville home where people were inside, leading to his arrest more than a week later. In the affidavit, Titusville police officers described the case against suspect Javone Williams. They said Williams was with friends who had an argument with people in the home. When they didn't come out during the argument on Sept. 21, the report said, he “began shooting at the stated residence.” , and “approximately ten shots were fired in rapid succession.” Officers arrested Williams on Sunday. Court documents indicate Williams is a convicted felon and should never have owned a gun, adding to the current charges. Detectives say doorbell cameras helped in the investigation. “Several of us in the neighborhood have cameras. You just have to be careful when you.” “Go out and be alert,” said the neighbor. Williams will be arraigned in the coming weeks.

The neighbor didn't want to show her face or give her name. She says the shooting at her neighbor's house on Ellis Circle Avenue shocked residents here.

The news that an arrest has been made is a relief.

“I hope they can finally do something. I'm glad an arrest was made. It’s just a very sad situation that something like this happens,” the neighbor said.

In the affidavit, Titusville police officers detailed the case against suspect Javone Williams.

They say Williams was with friends who had an argument with people in the house.

When they didn't come out during the argument on Sept. 21, the report said he “began shooting at the stated residence” and “approximately ten shots were fired in rapid succession.”

Officers arrested Williams on Sunday. Court documents show Williams is a convicted felon and should never have owned a gun, making the current charges even more severe.

Investigators said doorbell cameras helped in the investigation.

“Several of us in the neighborhood have cameras. You just have to be careful when you go outside and be vigilant,” the neighbor said.

Williams will be arraigned in the coming weeks.
