Buchanan man arrested by city police

Officers with the Plymouth Police Department arrested a man from Buchanan, Michigan on Sunday afternoon, September 29thTh, after he was found to be speeding on Hoham Drive.

City officials stopped a vehicle on Hoham Drive that was traveling 47 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone. The driver was identified as Ronald Adams, 42, of Buchanan, Michigan.

During the traffic stop, it was discovered that Adams' driver's license was revoked from Michigan and revoked before leaving Indiana. It was also determined that the plates on the vehicle were false and fictitious and that the plates that were supposed to be on the vehicle had expired.

Adams was taken into custody and taken to the Marshall County Jail, where he was charged with driving while previously suspended and given a court date and bond.
