Injury update: Seahawks safety Julian Love is out for the remainder of the Lions game

Pro Bowl safety Julian Love has officially been ruled out for the remainder of the game with what the Seahawks are calling a hamstring injury. Love suffered the injury sometime in the third quarter. Seattle's injury-ravaged defense is already without Byron Murphy, Leonard Williams, Uchenna Nwosu, Boye Mafe and Jerome Baker. Now we add Julian Love to the list.

Seattle's third safety, K'Von Wallace, should fill the void that could be created by Love's departure. Wallace has been pretty strong so far this season, with five solo tackles and a forced fumble in limited play.

The Seahawks were in trouble late in the third quarter, with the Lions leading 35-20. Geno has shown magic on the offensive side of the ball, but our second and third defensive lines are being pushed beyond their capabilities. They will have to do everything they can to stop Detroit's rushing attack in the fourth quarter.
