KSEAB is implementing new measures to prevent leaks of SSLC exam papers

Following reports of misconduct and questions Paper leaks During the ongoing SSLC Summative Assessment-1 exams in Karnataka, the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has initiated important measures to resolve the issue. Allegations emerged that exam papers were leaked through social media, particularly in Davanagere district. However, preliminary investigations revealed that the leaked paper was an old paper posted on a YouTube channel and not a recent exam paper.

KSEAB chairman N Manjushree confirmed that the board has taken measures to prevent further incidents, including banning activities such as sharing exam papers on social media. To further secure the process, KSEAB will now release question papers only on the day of the exam from 6 am onwards through the school's registration portal. Previously, the papers were made available one day in advance.

To ensure uniformity, a uniform question paper will be distributed for all SSLC exams across the state. As schools in rural areas struggle to download and print question papers early in the morning, there are proposals to change the start time of exams, which is currently 10am.
