Britney Spears' hair, eyebrows and eyelashes were singed in a chimney accident

Oops, she did it again.

Four years after her home gym burned down, Britney Spears opens up about a frightening chimney accident.

The Princess of Pop told her Instagram followers on Monday that the “really dangerous” incident happened six months earlier.

“I was in my room, turned on the fire and suddenly it exploded in my face,” the 42-year-old singer recalled, while “speaking with a British accent.”

The “Crossroads” star noted that her fire is “done.” [that] “First,” she usually has her security “come in and light it for her.”

“But this time I just threw the whole thing in and it literally blew up in my face,” Spears said, adding that the “person [she] was with just not waking up.”

She claimed: “It took all my eyelashes and eyebrows off and – see those baby bangs? These are from…it sizzles[ing] all my hair.”

At the time, the Grammy winner feared she had second- or third-degree burns and thought she “needed to go to the emergency room because…” [her] The face was on fire.”

Spears explained: “It hurt to touch my phone. It hurt to put ice on my face. It hurt [to have] something touches it. This happened for about six or seven hours. …The pain never went away. It was so, so, so bad.”

Eventually, the performer took three Tylenol tablets, which she described as a “really, really big deal” and compared to “F–king Vicodin,” and was able to fall asleep.

“Yeah, it was really bad,” Spears concluded. “Everything is fine now.”

Last year, the dancer opened up about the fire she accidentally started with candles in her home gym, showing off the charred remains on Instagram.

“I walked past the door to the gym and flames BOOM!!!!!!” Spears wrote in December 2023, “By the grace of God the alarm went off after that and yay no one got hurt.” Unfortunately now all I have is two pieces of equipment left lol and a one sided mirror gym!!!!

“But it could be a lot worse, so I’m grateful,” she continued at the time. “Pssss, I prefer to train outside anyway!!!!”

Spears, whose 13-year conservatorship ended in 2021, lives in a villa in Los Angeles.
