Fall is just around the corner, which means Max has a cool lineup of shows and movies perfect for October. So grab a pumpkin spice latte, snickerdoodle cookies, and a fuzzy blanket and get cozy for your next spooky binge.

If you are a fan of all horror and cult classics The incantationTim Burton's corpse brideand the It Franchise, including It And It: Chapter Twowill arrive on Max this month. You won't want to miss it either A Nightmare on Elm Street, A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge, poltergeistand more.

After two years of waiting, the remake of Stephen King's is out Salem's property will be published by Max on October 3rd. Based on the best-selling 1975 novel, the film tells the story of Ben Mears, a writer who returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem's Lot in search of inspiration for his next book. There he discovers that his hometown is being hunted by a bloodthirsty vampire.

On October 10th, Max subscribers can also look forward to the Max original film Caddo Lakewhich takes place after an eight-year-old girl mysteriously disappears and “a series of past deaths and disappearances become linked, forever changing the history of a broken family.”

True crime lovers, mark your calendars for October 15th I'm Not a Monster: The Lois Riess Murdersa new two-part documentary about Max. For the first time, 56-year-old wife, mother and grandmother Lois Riess – who murdered her husband David in 2018 and was on the run – tells her story in an exclusive interview with the filmmakers.

If you need a break from scary content, watch the premiere of the HBO original comedy seriesThe franchiseon October 6th. The series “follows the crew of an unloved franchise film as they fight for their place in a wild and unruly cinematic universe,” says the logline. Himesh Patel, Aya Cash, Jessica Hynes, Billy Magnussen, Lolly Adefope, Darren Goldstein and other stars.
