Investigations are continuing after a knife attack outside a school in Stourbridge.

A 15-year-old boy was injured in a knife attack on Grange Lane outside Pedmore High School at around 3.20pm on Wednesday, September 25.

Three teenagers were arrested following the incident and police have now confirmed that a fourth teenager has been arrested as part of the investigation and all have been released on bail while the investigation continues.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “As part of our investigation we have so far arrested four teenagers aged 15 to 17.

“They have all been released on conditional bail while our investigations continue.”

The teenager injured in the incident suffered injuries to his face, but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Leaders of the school, which is part of the Invictus Education Trust, praised teaching staff and police for their response to the incident and said the entire school community had pulled together.
