SHREVEPORT, LA – Suspect wanted for murder

Shreveport Police detectives are actively investigating Cornelius Jacksonalso known as “Mookey,” who is wanted in connection with a murder that occurred on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 1900 Legardy Street.

Homicide personnel worked tirelessly throughout the day to collect witness statements, video footage and additional evidence that led to the identification of Jackson as a suspect. An arrest warrant was issued for his arrest for second-degree murder.

Cornelius Jackson is considered armed and dangerous, and SPD detectives are asking for your help in bringing this suspect to justice.
