Police released the arrest warrant for Beausoleil on Tuesday, a day after his arrest.

Read it below:

It said state police began investigating the case after the child was brought to the emergency room at Day Kimball Hospital on Aug. 4, 2023.

Doctors reported that the baby had several serious injuries, including multiple rib fractures in various stages of healing. The baby also had multiple active brain bleeds.

Due to the severity of the injuries, the child had to be airlifted to UMass Memorial Hospital.

Further examination revealed that the child had suffered a fracture to each rib. The baby also had a ruptured liver.

Doctors told Beausoleil that the injuries were consistent with “shaking baby syndrome,” state police said.

However, Beausoleil told investigators that the injuries likely resulted from him breaking a glass in the baby's room, slipping on the broken glass and falling on the child.

He claimed he checked the baby for injuries at the time but found none. He said he didn't think his entire weight was on the child.

However, he later noticed that the baby was not behaving normally.

The next morning the child was taken to Day Kimball.

A forensic examination of the data on Beausoleil's phone revealed web searches for broken ribs that occurred on July 16, 2023, Trooper said. This was about two weeks after the victim was born.

During their initial interview, Beausoleil told state police he had no problems with his partner. However, on December 6, 2023, he contradicted this and made allegations of mental health problems and self-harm against this person.

As a result, State Police determined there was probable cause to arrest Beausoleil.
