Sheriff Says Man Arrested After Eating Beef Jerky, Distributing Beer to Minors | Crime and courts

OZARK COUNTY, Mo. (WSIL) – A man was arrested after authorities say he bought beer for children and then ate beef jerky without paying for it.

The Ozark County Sheriff's Office said on Aug. 17 that Deputy Sherman responded to a gas station to investigate a theft at a gas station in Gainsville.

The sheriff's office said they viewed a video that showed a man talking to several minors in the parking lot, then going into the store, buying beer and then sharing the beer with the children Money exchanged.

The suspect then went back into the store, took several packages of beef jerky and left the store without paying for them, the sheriff's office added.

The sheriff's office identified the suspect as Brad White. Authorities said they arrested him on charges of theft, furnishing alcohol to a minor and burglary.

A booking photo of White shows him wearing a blanket and smiling at the camera.
