The new series “Murder in a Small Town” is based on the Edgar Award-winning nine-volume “Karl Alberg” series by acclaimed novelist LR Wright.

The show follows Karl Alberg as he moves to the idyllic coastal town of Gibsons to become the new police chief and calm a psyche battered by big city policing. Unfortunately, the gentle paradise holds more than its fair share of secrets, and Karl must use all the skills that have made him a top-notch detective to solve the murders that continue to wash up on its shores even in this seemingly idyllic setting, according to a series description from FuboTV. Cassandra, a local librarian, becomes Alberg's muse, counterpart and romantic interest.

In the new episode, “several of Cassandra's former classmates discover a body at the marina during their high school reunion celebration, prompting Alberg to investigate who the dead Gibsons resident was and who is responsible for the murder.”
