Miller has collected three sacks for the Bills' defense this season as the team is off to a 3-1 start. He has been a solid veteran since arriving in Buffalo in 2022.

Miller was previously suspended in 2013 after the NFL learned he had tried to cheat on a drug test. That same year, he was arrested for failing to appear on a driving violation warrant in October 2012.

He was arrested last November after being accused of assault and then turned himself in. Prosecutors later withdrew the charges. This arrest took place on November 30th in Dallas, Texas. As a result of the withdrawn allegations, Miller is charged with third-degree assault on a pregnant woman, later found to be his then-girlfriend.

Miller denied the allegations, saying: “This is all false. You know, it's not a funny situation, but everything is fake and everything is untrue. The only thing that is true is that we have a third son the way.”

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said the league was considering placing Miller on the exempt list at the time of the allegations.

“We took that into consideration.” Goodell told reporters in March. “Based on all the facts, we felt it was inappropriate at the time. I have not received any information about the status of his case recently.”

Miller has been with the Bills since 2022 after signing a six-year, $120 million contract. However, he took a pay cut this offseason to help with that Bills get under the salary cap after missing the first four games of last season as he recovers from a torn ACL suffered on Thanksgiving in 2022.

Miller had two tackles and three quarterback hits in 12 regular-season games and two tackles in the playoffs against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Miller currently leads all active NFL players in sacks with 126.5.
