Maggie Sajak shares her thoughts on Ryan Seacrest as “Wheel of Fortune” host

Maggie Sajak opened up about the “new era” of Wheel of Fortune, sharing her thoughts on new host Ryan Seacrest and how he fits into the show after his first few weeks on set. Speaking to Us Weekly at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, Maggie said she thinks Seacrest is “amazing” and “so professional” as the new Wheel host. Maggie, the daughter of legendary Wheel presenter Pat Sajak, added: “I’m sure you would assume so, but [Seacrest] Really appreciates the show and knows how important it is. You can really tell by how well prepared he is and how he handles the contestants and the entire experience.” The American Idol host was announced as Wheel's new host in June 2023, replacing Pat, who served for four decades Term ended in June. However, Pat will return one final time to host the upcoming season of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.
