Police: Murder suspect in custody

SAN ANGELO, TX – Police said the suspect involved in the murder on S. David St. the morning of October 1, 2024 is in custody. Police announced the arrest at 6:24 p.m. today.

According to San Angelo Police, we reported earlier today that a man died from multiple gunshot wounds in a shooting that occurred early this morning in the 1500 block of South David Street.

San Angelo police arrived on scene around 8 a.m. and found the victim with serious injuries.

The man was transported to the emergency room at Shannon Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries. Authorities have not released the victim's identity and no further information is available at this time.
