NBA Media Day serves as a kickoff to the upcoming season and provides athletes with a platform to showcase not only their excitement for the upcoming season, but also their style and brand partnerships. Players like LeBron James and his son Bronny, Jimmy Butler and Ja Morant had the opportunity to introduce new styles.

Here's a look at all the viral looks from NBA Media Day 2024.

Bronny and LeBron James

Bronny James made headlines at NBA Media Day 2024 by joining his father, LeBron James, making them the first active father-son duo in NBA history. Bronny was drafted 55th overall by the Los Angeles Lakers. At the team's media day at UCLA, the father-son duo posed side by side in their Lakers jerseys and showed off exclusive Nike basketball shoes to the players

Jimmy Butler surprised fans by opting for a streamlined, no-frills look, a stark contrast to his previous bold appearances. The Miami Heat shooting guard, known for his bold style choices, opted for a much more understated look.

Butler's 2023 “Emo Jimmy” look remains one of his most talked-about looks at NBA Media Day. Sporting long, straight hair with side-swept bangs, he embraced a dramatic aesthetic that transcended sporting circles and landed him a role as a cowboy in a prince-inspired outfit for Fall Out Boy's “So Much (for) Stardust.” He also made headlines at NBA Media Day 2022 with his two-tone dreadlocks.

Steph Curry

Steph Curry, a perennial favorite on and off the court, chose the Under Armor Unisex Curry Splash 24 Suede Basketball Shoes in Rebel Pink. The shoes, which were available in mid-September, are part of Curry's ongoing collaboration with Under Armor, which began in 2013.

Tyrese Haliburton caused a stir on social media after his appearance at the 2024 NBA Media Day by wearing Prada's Spring 2022 Square Toe Slip-On Loafers. This bold choice, in keeping with the corporate-core trend, stood out among the usual athletic shoes worn by other athletes.

Memphis Grizzlies star guard Ja Morant, a two-time NBA All-Star, introduced the Nike Ja 2 “Induction” sneakers. Fans first got a look at the colorway when Morant was honored by the Murray State Racers Hall of Fame in July. The sneakers feature a distinctive Cobalt Bliss upper, accented by scratch marks above the Swoosh logos.

Nike recently launched Morant's second signature sneaker line, available in five colorways. This line builds on the success of its predecessor and will release in new colorways throughout the NBA season.

Tyler Herro
