Week 8 Results + Scorecards | Dana White's Contender Series Season 8

Like every previous season, this year has already seen a number of impressive results and surprise upsets, while also adding a host of intriguing talent to the UFC roster, with some of the winners from the first few weeks of this season already booked on fight cards in the final one Quarter 2024.

This week, five pairs of fighters head to the cage to impress UFC CEO Dana White and the matchmakers, including returning competitor Torrez Finney, who is seeking his second win of the season, his third DWCS win to date and hopefully that elusive UFC contract.

With fights in five different weight classes, from light heavyweight to bantamweight, Tuesday's slate had plenty of potential for excitement, and when the action came to the cage, the bouts exceeded all expectations, making it a packed night for the UFC CEO made decisions.

For the second straight year, all five winning fighters received contracts, including Finney, whose second win of the season and third DWCS win ultimately punched his ticket to the UFC. The undefeated “Punishers” were joined by welterweight Jacobe Smith, bantamweight David Martinez, featherweight Alberto Montes and undefeated light heavyweight Diyar Nurgozhay.
