Comedian Known for Kamala Harris Impressions Claims His Boyfriend Tried to Murder Her: Complaint

A woman known for her viral Kamala Harris impressions on social media claims her boyfriend tried to murder her.

In a 14-page complaint filed in New York Supreme Court on Monday, September 30 and obtained by PEOPLE, Sienna Hubert-Ross claims she is the victim of “brutal assault, battery and attempted murder” at the hands of Oliver Lane became.

She is seeking $5,000,000 in damages.

Hubert-Ross, 25, says she and British-born Lane, 26, “met through the dating app Hinge and went on their first date on May 14, 2024,” according to court documents.

The complaint alleges that from the beginning, Lane was “very interested in Hubert-Ross' public persona,” “almost to the point of obsession,” since the model and comedian has nearly 300,000 followers on Instagram.

However, his admiration soon turned to insults, she claims.

After “about a week and a half of dating,” Lane suggested to Hubert-Ross that they move into an “expensive” apartment that he was renting with Lane's boyfriend, Will. Hubert-Ross expressed her disapproval of the proposed living arrangement, which led to “frequent and frequent” arguments between the couple, according to the complaint.

Although other concerns were raised, their “biggest” was that “Hubert-Ross believed Will had a homosexual love interest in Lane and that if they lived together, Will and Lane would enter into a romantic affair.” “This disagreement over the living situation resulted in two separate incidents of assault and battery,” the complaint states.

Hubert-Ross alleges in the complaint that on July 26, 2024, the couple went to a bar in New York City called O'Hanlon's, where she and Lane began arguing again about the living situation. As they rode home in a taxi, Lane allegedly screamed, “I'm going to kill you!” Hubert-Ross claims.

The next day, she claimed he became physical with her again and “she finally admitted and agreed” to live with Lane and Will.

The complaint adds that on the night of Aug. 7, the couple was at another bar with friends, including one with whom Hubert-Ross had a “casual relationship” several years ago. The complaint alleges that Lane was aware of the previous relationship.

“As the night progressed, Lane alternated between insulting and ignoring Hubert-Ross because he was unsure about their previous casual relationship,” she claims.

After returning home, “now in the early hours of August 8, 2024,” Lane continued to confront Hubert-Ross about her past relationship. He “became extremely angry, raised his voice and verbally abused Hubert-Ross,” she adds in the complaint.

During their argument, Lane “inadvertently disclosed” that he was still in contact with an ex, Hubert-Ross continues in the complaint. She claims she saw messages on Lane's cell phone in which he told his ex, “She was the only one for him and that Lane would often wake up and think about her when he was in bed with Hubert-Ross.”

She then claims that Lane “snatched” his phone from her and “forcibly threw her into the oven,” where she lay “stunned and shocked at what had just happened.”

Her complaint says it was “just the beginning of Lane's violent attack and attempted murder.”

Lane allegedly “dragged her into the bathroom” and threw her into the bathtub, leaving a 115-pound Hubert-Ross defenseless in the “assault.” The alleged attack then moved to her living room, where Hubert-Ross said she grabbed Lane's phone during the fight and “sent screenshots of Lane's text messages with his ex to her phone” to let her “friends and family know.” “What actually happened was that Lane killed her.”

After Lane went into the bedroom, Hubert-Ross said in her filing that she was able to grab her phone and call her mother from one of the bedrooms and her mother connected the call to one of her friends, who called the police while she listened to the alleged Attack.

In the complaint, Hubert-Ross claims she “suffered significant injuries and severe emotional and psychological distress.”

In a statement to PEOPLE, the firm representing Hubert-Ross said, “We are proud of Ms. Hubert-Ross for having the courage to act as an advocate for victims of domestic violence and even more so as an advocate for herself.”

The company further claimed and reiterated the complaint: “The allegations against Mr. Lane are very serious, as this was a brutal attack that left both physical and emotional scars that will haunt her for the rest of her life.” Mr. Lane will now be forced to answer for his crimes, and we look forward to making sure he pays for his cowardly actions.”
