61-year-old Plymouth man arrested at Red Rock Inn

On Saturday, September 28th, Plymouth Police were dispatched to the Red Rock Inn to locate a suspicious man attempting to break into another person's room. Upon arrival, police located 61-year-old Mark Lovely, a Red Rock resident, who was still actively attempting to gain entry to the motel room.

During the investigation it was assumed that Lovely was under the influence of narcotics. When he was taken into custody, drugs were found on his person.

Mark Lovely was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was charged with possession of a legendary drug, home invasion and public intoxication. He was promised a court date in Marshall County Superior Court III and a $1,500 bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and there is only probable cause to believe that a crime has been committed . You are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to representation by an attorney and a jury trial, in which the state is required to provide evidence beyond a reasonable doubt before a verdict of guilt can be made.
