3 Hours of Until Dawn Remake gameplay leaks online

Three hours of gameplay from the Until Dawn remake have been leaked online ahead of the game's official release on October 4, 2024.

Twitch streamer Nikolai7PT leaked Until Dawn Remake's three hours of gameplay during a livestream on October 1, with the VOD still available to watch on his channel.

As expected, the VOD was soon released on the /r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, where the game was criticized for being full price. User /u/BARD3NGUNN said: “I mean, if Horizon can revamp all of their graphics, add Duelsense features, and re-record over 10 hours of motion capture to bring cutscenes up to modern standards and charge existing players $10, then realistically Until Dawn should have done the same thing.”

He continued: “It's a great game, but given the limitations of the genre, this remaster doesn't really do much to improve the gameplay, and the story hasn't been expanded, so you basically have a remaster of an interactive movie.” appears alongside works like Silent Hill, Dragon Ball and Metaphor (all at a similar physical price) – it's a really hard sell.”

In September, the developers of Until Dawn Remake, Ballistic Moon, announced that the studio was facing layoffs affecting an unknown number of developers.

Till Dawn currently has a film adaptation in the works from PlayStation Productions and Sony's Screen Gems, which is believed to be in early production.
