Tee Grizzley teams up with J. Cole for new single and video “Blow For Blow” –

Tee Grizzley has announced his new album, Post-traumaticwhich will be released this Friday, October 4th. The announcement follows the release of his single “Blow for Blow” featuring J. Cole.

“Blow for blow” Notably, this marks his first collaboration with the two-time GRAMMY® Award-winning, chart-dominating rap superstar from North Carolina.

Produced by Powerhouse Pierre Bourne [Drake, Playboi Carti]the track's synth loop plays around tense 808s. J Cole sets the pace by accompanying the beat with razor-sharp rhymes. He urges it “Proceed with the throat cutting procedure, continue to spread wisdom, “Don’t trust rappers, ho, trust in Jesus. An interpolation of a classic hook from The infamous BIG one passes the ball effectively T-piece, which delivers a stunning array of bars. Then he crowns himself, “I am a king. You won't see me not shedding tears, and consolidate his position as untouchable, “If this shit goes left, I'll grab bread off the floor.” The music video seamlessly projects this spirit onto the screen. This dynamic duo raps on top of a building in front of the New York skyline.

In the meantime, Post-traumatic sees Tee open up like never before. Thematically, he addresses the effects of past traumas on the present. Once again drawing on real-life experiences informed by wisdom and experience, he presents a blueprint for reform and new beginnings. He becomes vulnerable while delivering the ultimate tribute to Detroit and the Midwest.
