According to leaks, Shaquille O'Neal is coming to “Fortnite” this week with two new skins.

Shaquille O'Neal may have been one of the most well-known NBA Hall of Famers and superstars of all time, but he is also known for his importance in pop culture, so much so that he was considered for membership on “Fortnite.” Now, a new leak has claimed that the battle royale game is now preparing to add the “Superman” of basketball with two new skins dedicated to the athlete.

It remains unknown why “Fortnite” deviated from its current focus on cartoon and comic book characters in Chapter 5 of Season 4, but this will provide a new experience for everyone.

A new leak from the trusty ShiinaBR is on the renowned 15-time NBA All-Star is one of the most surprising announcements in recent memory, especially since Epic Games has mostly focused on collaborating with Disney for its most recent releases.

However, the leaker claimed that Fortnite plans to unveil Shaq Diesel and his special cosmetics for the game by Friday, October 4th.

It will also join Epic Games' many October offerings coming to “Fortnite” later this month, as it was revealed that the battle royale is gearing up for its special Halloween drops and is bringing back “Fortnitemares.”

All About Shaq: Two skins will be the focus of “Fortnite.”

According to ComicBook Gaming, “Big Shaq” will receive two special skins for the battle royale when he is revealed for his big debut later this week. First of all, it is assumed that the legendary NBA center would appear as an athlete, but it remains unknown which of the six teams he played for would wear his jersey.

The report also speculated that Shaq could be portrayed as “Steel,” a DC hero that O'Neal previously played in a 1997 film.

Fortnite icon skins and well-known personalities

Epic Games has proven to the world that “Fortnite” is a game and a platform that can deliver diverse experiences that connect the world through competitive gaming, music and more. The proclaimed “GOAT” and King of Basketball, LeBron James, has been widely celebrated in “Fortnite” as he not only received an Icon Series skin, but also a special “Space Jam 2” fit was made available.

There were also athletes from different sports and backgrounds immortalized in battle royale games like Epic Games and “Fortnite” recognized their talents and fame enough to receive skins. The Fortnite icon series was originally intended to honor well-known esports athletes and gamers who brought enormous popularity to the franchise, but it also included football's Neymar Jr. and the NFL's Justin Jefferson.

Recently, Epic Games offered fans the opportunity to enjoy the game and jam with their favorite artists as part of the Fortnite Festival experience, including musicians like The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish and more. Currently, “Fortnite” is focused on its “Absolute Doom” experience on Battle Island, but a familiar big man may soon be coming to help.
