Undercover operations lead to multiple arrests for drug sales in Deltona

Three people have been arrested and the Volusia County Sheriff is searching for a fourth suspect in connection with the illegal sale of drugs in the parking lot of a Deltona bar.

After a two-month investigation, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office (VSO) said it cracked down on drug activity at Buzzards Roost Bar in Deltona.

The investigation, which reportedly began in August, included several undercover operations at the bar that resulted in the identification of people selling drugs in the parking lot.

Search warrants were obtained resulting in three arrests.

Victor Rosario, 30, had two warrants for his arrest, charging him with sale and delivery of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a park, unlawful use of a two-way communication device and visible possession of cocaine with intent to sell.

When investigators found Rosario, they reported finding him in his apartment with cash, a total of $9,627, and three bags of cocaine.

Patrick Robinson, 57, was observed by VSO investigators selling marijuana in the bar's parking lot. Officers said they conducted a traffic stop on him during which he was found with marijuana, drug paraphernalia and muscle relaxants in someone else's name.

Robinson was charged with possession of cannabis with intent to sell, possession of a new legend drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The third suspect, Richard Torres, 35, was charged with selling cannabis and cocaine within 1,000 feet of a park and selling cocaine within 1,000 feet of a child care facility.
