Emergency services rush to apartments after a “medical incident”.

A man has been discharged from hospital after a medical incident that saw emergency services rush to a block of flats in Swindon.

At approximately 12.45pm on Sunday, September 29, several police vehicles and ambulances responded to a property on Frobisher Drive following initial reports of a disturbance.

Officers determined a man in his 30s was suffering from a non-fatal drug overdose and he was treated at the scene and taken to hospital as a “precautionary measure” before being released the next day.

Police have confirmed they are not treating the incident as suspicious and no one has been arrested.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “We responded to a non-fatal drug overdose in Frobisher Drive, Swindon, at around 12.45pm on Sunday (29/9).

“A man in his 30s was taken to hospital as a precaution but was discharged the following day (September 30).

“No arrests have been made.”
