$2,000 cash stolen from purse in Queens subway brawl

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police released a photo Wednesday of a man accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a woman's purse during a brawl at a Queens subway station last month.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, September 10, inside the Parsons Boulevard-Archer Avenue J Line station.

According to officials, a 20-year-old woman and an unknown person got into an argument.

The suspect stole approximately $2,000 from the victim's purse and then fled the scene on foot to an unknown area.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black shower cap, white sweater, white pants, white socks and black slippers.
