FORT WINNEBAGO, Wis. – A man who the Columbia County Sheriff's Office says stole a vehicle in Fort Winnebago was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Marquette County.

A Fort Winnebago resident called 911 around 1:55 p.m. to report his vehicle was stolen from his driveway. A Columbia County Sheriff's Office detective was able to locate the vehicle traveling north on Highway 51 leaving Portage around 2:37 p.m.

The detective followed the vehicle and worked with the Marquette County Sheriff's Office to stop it along I-39.

Officers in Marquette County were able to stop the vehicle near Endeavor. The driver, 37-year-old Justin Susnik of Arkdale, was arrested without incident. Officials said he showed signs of impairment during the arrest.
